Sister Cities of Louisville Alumni Association, SCLAA, exists in order to give former participants of Sister Cities of Louisville programs the opportunity to continue their connection with the organization, as well as their commitment to global peace and international relationships. SCLAA strives to increase and sustain relationships with former participants of Sister Cities of Louisville programs. Our mission is to promote peace and respect by maintaining these relationships.
Through Sister Cities' programming, many people have experiences which forever shape their viewpoints. SCLAA is an avenue in which participants may continue thier connection to Sister Cities and, more importantly, to continue their growth after the completion of their projects. SCLAA holds biannual gatherings for members to mingle, share their experiences, and learn about how others have continued on with their commitment to peace and cross-cultural respect. A quarterly newsletter will also feature stories from alumni recounting their experiences and keep members updated on ways to get involved.
As the organization grows, so will its goals. SCLAA will do its part to make any member's desires into reality. Let us know what YOU want SCLAA to do by contributing to our website or by contacting sclou@sclou.org! |
